Gulfport Energy Corporation is an Oklahoma City-based independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company with its principal properties located in the Utica Shale in Eastern Ohio, the SCOOP Woodford and SCOOP Springer plays in Central Oklahoma and along the Louisiana Gulf Coast.

Medical Benefits

Gulfport Energy offers a 100% employer-paid group health plan to all full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week. Coverage is insured through UMR, a third-party administrator for United Healthcare and is available the first day of the month following an employee's start date. The plan includes prescription drug coverage; dependent coverage is also available.

Dental Insurance

Employees are provided a100% employer-paid dental plan that pays for up to three preventative visits per plan year for diagnostic and preventive care covered at 100%. The plan includes a low, individual deductible with coinsurance payment on basic dental services and major restorative services. Dependent coverage is also available.

Vision

Employees and their families are provided 100% employer-paid vision coverage insured through EyeMed Vision Care. Each year, the plan provides allowances for either contact lenses or glasses. The plan also pays for an eye exam every year for a $10 copay with EyeMed providers.

Teladoc

Through Teladoc, employees have video/phone access to a national network of U.S. board-certified doctors available on-demand 24/7/365 to diagnose, treat and prescribe medication for many medical issues at no cost.

On-site Fitness Center

Our corporate office is equipped with a state-of-the-art wellness center that offers cardio, weight training, spin and aerobics classes and is staffed by personal trainers.  Field employees are eligible for a gym-reimbursement.

Employee Café

Corporate employees have access to an on-site café that provides fresh, healthy options for breakfast and lunch five days a week.

401(k) Retirement Plan & Profit Sharing

Full-time and part-time employees are eligible to enroll in the 401(k) savings plan upon hire. The company makes a safe harbor contribution equal to 3% of earnings. Employees can select a percentage or amount of salary to be withheld. Employees may also receive a discretionary profit sharing contribution annually based on company performance. Contributions and earnings are tax-deferred until withdrawn.

Flexible Spending Account

Flexible spending accounts allow enrolled employees to pay for eligible dependent care and health care expenses with pre-tax dollars. The set-aside amount is deducted from gross income before taxes are calculated, reducing taxable income.

Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance

Full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week automatically have company-paid basic group life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance coverage beginning the first of the month following the employee’s start date.  The coverage amount is two times the employee’s annual salary.  Supplemental life insurance is available for purchase under the plan.

Restricted Stock Units (RSU)

Full-time employees working 30 hours or more per week may be eligible for a long-term incentive plan. Restricted Stock Unit plan evaluation and allocations occur on an annual basis.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Full-time employees working 30 hours or more per week will accrue PTO beginning at 120 hours per year with increases depending on continued years of service at the Company.

Company-paid Holidays

Full-time employees working 30 hours or more per week are eligible to receive holiday pay for eight holidays as designated by the Company.

Half-day Friday Schedule

To help employees manage work, family and life-related needs, Gulfport offers options for a half-day Friday schedule where business permits. Employees may request a nine-hour day, half-day on Friday schedule, in which an employee works nine-hour workdays Monday through Thursday and four hours each Friday.

Gulfport strives to set the bar in our industry and we support the development of employees who set a high bar for themselves.  This program is designed to assist employees in taking advantage of educational opportunities that will benefit both the employee and the Company.  Full-time employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 in job-related courses or degree programs each year after 1 year of continuous service.
