Gulfport Energy Corporation is an Oklahoma City-based independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company focused on the exploration, acquisition and production of natural gas, crude oil and NGL in the United States with primary focus in the Appalachia and Anadarko basins. Our principal properties are located in Eastern Ohio targeting the Utica and Marcellus formations and in central Oklahoma targeting the SCOOP Woodford and SCOOP Springer formations.

Medical Benefits

Gulfport Energy offers a group health plan to all full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week. Coverage is provided through UMR, a third-party administrator for United Healthcare, and is available the first day of the month following an employee's start date. The plan includes prescription drug coverage. Dependent and family coverage is also available.

Dental Insurance

Employees are offered a dental plan through UMR that pays for up to three preventative visits per plan year for diagnostic and preventive care covered at 100%. The plan includes a low, individual deductible with coinsurance payment on basic dental services and major restorative services. Dependent coverage is also available.

Vision

The company offers a choice of visions plans that provide basic or enhanced vision coverage through EyeMed Vision Care. Each year, the plan provides allowances for either contact lenses or glasses. The plan also pays for an eye exam every year for a $10 copay with EyeMed providers.

Teladoc

Employees enrolled in the healthcare plan have 24/7/365 access to Teladoc, which provides virtual visits by video or phone with a national network of U.S. board-certified doctors available to diagnose, treat and prescribe medication for many medical issues at no additional cost.

Kempton

The company provides bundled services for certain medical procedures through a network of providers at no out-of-pocket cost to the employee.

401(k) Retirement Plan & Profit Sharing

Full-time and part-time employees are eligible to enroll in the 401(k) savings plan upon hire. The company provides a 100% safe harbor match on the first 6% of eligible employee contributions. Employees can select a percentage of eligible earnings to be withheld. Employees may also receive a discretionary profit-sharing contribution annually based on company performance. Contributions and earnings are tax-deferred until withdrawn.

Flexible Spending Account

Flexible spending accounts allow enrolled employees to pay for eligible dependent care and health care expenses with pre-tax dollars. The set-aside amount is deducted from gross income before taxes are calculated, reducing taxable income.

Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance

Full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week automatically have company-paid basic group life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance coverage beginning the first of the month following the employee’s start date. The coverage amount is two times the employee’s annual salary up to a maximum of $700,000. Supplemental life insurance is available for purchase under the plan.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Full-time employees working 30 hours or more per week will accrue PTO beginning at 120 hours per year with increases based on continuous years of service with the Company.

Company-paid Holidays

Full-time employees working 30 hours or more per week are eligible to receive holiday pay for eight holidays as designated by the Company.

Paid Parental Leave

Employees are eligible for up to 80 hours of Paid Parental Leave for nurturing and bonding time with a newborn or newly adopted child. Leave is paid at 60% - 100% of salary based on continuous years of service with the Company.

This program is designed to assist employees in taking advantage of educational opportunities that will benefit both the employee and the Company. Full-time employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 in job-related courses or degree programs each year after 1 year of continuous service.
